It has a multi user interface unlike anything that is out right now. There are virtual tracks, mixers, drum machines, samplers, synths, effects, sequencers and more all in one program.

Kontakt opens the door to creativity. It runs on Mac or Windows and is available as standalone or with plug ins. You can tune or stretch a sound with altering its pitch with kontakt.  There are three levels to kontakt, it samples, have instruments and uses multis.

It also has a loop editor for cutting up loops. Has over 33 GB of sounds and over 18 high end effects.
